Rayne Skyphyre is the noble born daughter of the bronze dragon Lord Karsynth Skyphyre and the gold dragon  Lady Qymri Warmheart. She has served as emissary and liaison for the Bronze Flight in the court of Queen Aliyeah Dayspring for several decades. Several years ago the Bronze Dragon agreed to serve as guardian to the human Devon Darkstar, at that time, consort to the Gold Queen. After Devon was named Highlord, Rayne requested to remain as part of his personal guard, a position she’s held ever since. Loyal to the queen of dragons she amuses herself by pretending to be Devon’s mate when other women might show interest in him. While she loves to share a bed with him, she has not “slept” with him and seems to revel in making him uncomfortable choosing to remain in various states of undress. (Dragons are not known to be shy or modest.) During his time on the Prime during the crisis of the Elder Evil, she was allowed to answer Devon’s call with the understanding she could only do as asked by the Highlord and relay no information to or from the Prime. She accepted this restriction and gave her dragon’s oath as it was the only way to be sure Devon would have proper assistance. Rayne loves to sun bathe and spend time near water or beaches. She loves soaring over the ocean. She has a fierce sense of justice and loves the company of humans finding the lesser race “most interesting”.
