Queen Langwidere, also known as Lady Ev, is the ruler of the Kingdom of Ev. She almost always wears a mask, in order to cover up the fact that she does not age.

Magically transformed

Many years ago,  a great modron march destroyed the land Ev, every member of the Royal Family of Ev was killed. A lone modron, called Twain, who had grown to care for the royal family and felt guilty for their part in their demise, salvaged Langwidere’s body and was able to create a construct unlike any other before. Using the dead princess’ skin to cover the mechanical parts as well as a number of other pieces of her body he then infused the new Queen of Ev with the soul of the now reborn princess. The modron made Langwidere hundreds of masks to hide the never-aging princess. 

Queen Langwidere is highly narcissistic, spoiled, vain and conceited. She rules over the people of Ev, which is a very small enchanted land with little population. In her life of nearly complete isolation, Langwidere entertains herself. She has recently taken an interest in Nazmyr Vandree though whether it is for pure entertainment, business or something more personal is unknown
