Dawne is one of Claire’s personal envoys and a trained slayer. Stationed at Claire’s manor house at the WrathGate she loves Devon like a little brother and treats him as such. She will protect him for this reason and because she also knows it is Claire’s will. She was the first vampyr to greet Devon upon his arrival at Sanguinar. Dawne has always been a little easier on Devon than his other vampyr mentors to the point where she has been accused of ‘being soft on the boy’. She is friendly toward Jareth due to her familiarity with him due to his time spent in Sanguinar. She is dismissive of Gunther.
