Arabess is the child of the 6th Dragon Highlord Devon Darkstar and the archmage Holly Warren. As such she has inherited qualities from her human, Sanguinari and dual draconic heritage. She appears to have inherited her father’s reserved if not cold demeanor and at the same time her mother’s compassion. The child of powerful wizards Arabess showed a natural magical aptitude though unlike her parents she was drawn toward the path of sorcery drawing upon her draconic heritage. She seems to channel her mother’s silver dragon bloodline exhibiting the powers attributed to the species though it is speculated she might one day develop powers common in gold dragons due to her father. 

Arabess grew up in the Esoterica Magica. She was brought to the prestigious school after her birth and hidden away from the world by Magister Crowley as both a means of protecting her and the Prophesy of the Four. The pragmatic archmage believed if her parentage were discovered it could set events in motion that would prove catastrophic for all of creation . Despite the magister’s love for both her students she felt it better if neither knew of her existence.
