Morag Thraka “Skartissue”

Lvl 1 Half-Orc Barbarian Pirate

Hails from Darktow by way of Port Damali, Exandria

Born in Port Damali on the Menagerie Coast, Morag was the only son to an Orc mother and Human father. Mother and father were sea traders who in his fourth year were attacked by pirates and his father was killed trying to repel the boarding action while his mother was captured and never seen from again, his captors told him she had died. Being of mixed heritage he was used and abused as a deck hand as well as trained to fight as a gladiator against others in The Brawlers League. Upon his thirteenth year during a Brawlers League match his in rage burst forth and he destroyed his highly favored opponent with his bare hands. Winning the match gave him the unwanted consequence of being made a member of the “Turtles Hubris” crew.

Over the next four years Morag was an exemplary member of the crew though in secret he prayed to Kord, the Stormbringer to destroy the ship and the many that had abused him over the years. The end or so Morag thought came when the Turtles Hubris was commanded by the Plank King to stop the Sea’s Fury from sinking any more of his ships. Upon entering the Sea Hags lair everything started to go wrong, the central mast was broken in half, Hrik the lookout in the crows nest was killed when the mast broke and he was impaled on the rocks rising out of the water, and nearly a dozen crew fell under the thrall of a siren’s song and cast themselves overboard. Finally Captain Ugo, Morag and five others confronted the Sea Hag, as the battle raged on Morag was knocked into a cave wall and as his eyes began to close he noticed a mist filling up the lair.

Thraka wakes up after an indeterminate amount of time surrounded by mist, as he gets up, moans eminate from the mist and a pack of rotting corpses come into view.
